Drak's at home on the RAYULZ

Tue Nov 17, 2009, 7:04 PM
I just got Modern Warfare 2 yesterday and played a little bit of the multiplayer. The street release date was only a week ago and there are already people who are level 40+ and have Prestiged.

To the Modern Warfare unsavvy, gaining a level in this game's competitive multiplayer is a lot like gaining a level in your typical RPG, only a little bit faster. It takes me about two matches to gain a level, or one if I complete challenges and get experience bonuses. The maximum level you can reach is 70, but you can start all over again from scratch and earn what's called a Prestige, which really is nothing more than an insignia and bragging rights.

Some people have already Prestiged and are at level 40 again or higher.

These people need to go outside and lay off the Cheetos.

Or get a job.

He's actually considered to be a good guy, but the price he's paying for his necromantic powers is slowly corrupting that goodness.

So in a way, he bad antihero, meaning he is between 2/4ths and 3/4ths evil?

And out of curiousity, what do think necromancy is?

Exactly. Although, most of his "evilness" just comes from the way he fights and carries himself. So far.

Necromancy is the black magic art of communicating with the dead for the purpose of obtaining knowledge or other services. It's considered black magic because it breaks the natural boundaries between the worlds of the living and the dead. Drak is suffering from it because his form of necromancy is so radical that it required him to sacrifice a part of himself. But in exchange, he can do everything from simple divination to something impossible like infusing corpses with his essence and using them as rotting meat puppets - i.e., make zombies.

One again, I shall ask you. Do you roleplay at all?
:icondrakonisyoshi:
Sorry, I used to be pretty skilled at that when I was younger and part of a thriving community. But these days, my job takes up the majority of my time, so I haven't done that sort of thing in forever.

Do you roleplay anything at all out of curiosity?
